Traditional Irish Music Summer Camp
The aim of the traditional Irish music summer camp is to introduce students to the genre of Irish Music. Camp goers get the opportunity to learn briefly about the various types of Irish traditional dance tunes and instruments and are provided with the materials to learn the basics of playing a traditional instrument. Aimed at beginners but open to students of all skill levels, the camp focuses around the tin whistle, flute, piano accordion & traditional fiddle and so it may be very beneficial to children who can already play a similar instrument such as the recorder, classical flute, or violin/fiddle and to Irish dancing students who would like to learn the music behind their steps.
